Islamabad, Pakistan (BBN)–  At least seven people including three children were killed and 18 others injured in a massive bomb blast that went off near a Muharram procession in the country’s north-western Dera Ismail Khan city Saturday morning.
 
The bomb disposal squad said 8-10 kilograms of explosives were used in the locally made bomb.
 
A suspicious person was arrested from the site of the blast, police said, adding that the bomb was planted in a garbage dump.
 
Meanwhile the army has been called in to Dera Ismail Khan to take over security in the city, according to reports.
