Bonsai exhibition opens in Rajshahi

Rajshahi, Bangladesh (BBN) – A three-day bonsai exhibition opened in the country’ northern Rajshahi city on Friday to making bonsai culture popular among the people.

Rajshahi mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, as the chief guest, inaugurated the exhibition.

The Rajshahi Bonsai Society organized the exhibition marking its 12th anniversary at the Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry conference hall.

Some 40 bonsai-artists are attending the exhibition with 153 bonsai of 36 species in the exhibition that will remain open for the visitors from 10:00am to 8:00pm (local time).
