Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – BRAC Bank Limited arranged 9th Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM) in the capital Dhaka on Thursday.
The shareholders approved issuing 50 percent right share or one right share against two shares at the rate of BDT 25 each (including premium of BDT 15) for raising paid-up capital of the bank.
Chaired by Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali, Chairman of BRAC Bank Limited, the meeting was attended, among others, by the Directors Shib Narayan Kairy, Dr. Hafiz G. A. Siddiqi, Managing Director & CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman and Company Secretary Rais Uddin Ahmad.
Addressing the EGM, Mr. Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali, Chairman of BRAC Bank Limited, expressed his gratitude to the shareholders, stakeholders and management for their continuous support to the company.
A large number of shareholders also attended the EGM held at Army Golf Garden in Dhaka.
