Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The sale of tickets for special Eid service buses of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will begin on August 15 at BRTC bus depots across the country.
The operation of BRTC’s Eid special service buses in different routes outside the capital Dhaka will start that day and continue until three days after the Eid-ul-Fitr, the state-run BRTC said. 
The BRTC has mobilized a number of buses for its Eid special service to ply different routes from August 15 to the third day after the Eid-ul-Fitr to ease sufferings of the home-bound passengers before the Eid and returnees to the capital after the festival.  
 
A total of 780 buses have been included in the fleet of BRTC’s Eid special service, which will ply different routes outside the Dhaka city, while 390 buses will ply the capital under this service during the aforesaid period. 
The BRTC will open two help desks at its headquarters and Motijheel in the city to manage the Eid-rush smoothly, it added.
