BSC approves 10 percent dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The state-run Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) on Saturday approved 10 percent dividend per BDT 100 share for the fiscal year 2007-2008.

The approval came at the 31st annual general meeting (AGM) of the state-owned corporation at its Chittagong head office.

BSC posted net profit of BDT 466.8 million in FY2007-2008, disclosed the AGM, which was presided by Shipping Minister and Chairman of BSC Board of directors Afsarul Amin MP, according to reports.
