Lalmonirhat, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader in Lalmonirhat, a northern district of Bangladesh bordering India, early Thursday.
The killing took place early in the morning when a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders were returning through Aditmari frontier in the district, said local sources of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The border troops opened fire on the cattle traders without any provocation, leaving one of them dead on the spot, the BGB sources added.
The other cattle traders however managed to escape unhurt.
