Burma to import six more items from Bangladesh

Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh (BBN) – Burma, officially known as Myanmar, has decided to include six more Bangladeshi items to its import list, officials said.

The six items are cement, medicine, biscuit, iron, tin and soft drink.

The decision came at a meeting of the joint working group of Bangladesh and Myanmar held in at the tourist town on Sunday.

The Burma also agreed to allow Bangladeshi businessmen use their cell phones in Mong Du and Akyab in Myanmar, they added.

The next meeting of the working group will be held on February 9, 2012.
