Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organized the concluding session of a day long Business Development Conference for the zonal heads on Friday at Mohammad Younus Auditorium of Islami Bank Tower in Dhaka.
Professor Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman, Board of Directors of the bank was present in the session as the chief guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank, the conference attended by Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee.
Prof. Zaher in his speech as chief guest said, Islami Bank has been popular as a Model Bank in international arena through operating Islamic banking in Bangladesh. He stressed upon cent percent Shari’ah compliance in banking operation.
He called upon all for doing jobs for achieving satisfaction of Allah. He said, Islami Bank will never compromise with Shari’ah issue even if there is no profit.
Engr. Khan in his speech as special guest advised officials to be more careful towards customers. He said that the service of IBBL has to reach at the door step of people by continuing the customers’ present confidence.
Mohammad Mannan said that the IBBL has already made a room in the heart of people of the land. He expressed intention to play more dynamic role for overall development of the people of the country.
Among others, Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Investment Wing and Md. Nurul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, International Banking Wing. The conference was also attended by Md. Setaur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Dhaka Central Zone, Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Director, Internal Control and Compliance Wing, also spoke on the occasion.
