Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– A delegation of 23 Bangladeshi businessmen left Dhaka for the US Saturday night with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to attend the 67th general meeting of the United Nations to be held in New York on Monday. 
AK Azad, president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), arrived in the US earlier to lead the business delegation.
Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to deliver a speech on rule of law and at a reception ceremony of US President Barack Obama and First Lady Mitchell Obama. She will also attend the general assembly of the UN on Tuesday.
Bangladesh’s Prime Minister will chair a session on “Peace building: peace building a way forward towards sustainable peace and security”, and will inaugurate the second edition of Climate Vulnerability Monitor on Wednesday.
She is also scheduled to attend a session on autism organized by Mitchell Obama on Thursday and return to Bangladesh on October 2, according to the statement.
