Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) - A three-day 10th Chittagong Apparel, Fabric, and Accessories Exposition-2012, generally known as CAFAXPO-2012, will begin in the country’s port city from Thursday.
Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) is arranging the annual textile, machineries and accessories exhibition to introduce the local stakeholders with the latest tools and logistics from home and abroad for the readymade garments and textile sector.
The CAFAXPO-2012 will be held at Chittagong Jilla Krira Sangstha (CJKS) Indoor Stadium with participation of 62 reputed local and foreign companies of fabrics, knit, woven, enterprises, IT, garments and machineries, the organizers said.
Apart from inaugural and concluding ceremonies, the main features of the CAFAXPO-2012 include seminars on three separate subjects related to the current state of country's garments sector and subsequent global trend and live fashion show to be held everyday at the exhibition venue with participation of renowned artists.
