Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The inter-bank call money rates came down over the last week, treasury officials said.

At the beginning of the week, the call money rate hovered between 7.0 percent and 10 percent range.

On Tuesday, the call money market saw starting of a decline in the rates. The call money rate plunged since then to trade range bound within the 6.50 – 8.50 percent range.

On Thursday, most of the deals took place between 6.50 and 7.50 percent range, they added.
