Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The second annual Canadian Showcase-2012 began in the capital Dhaka on Sunday to display Canadian products and services in Bangladesh.
The Canada-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham) and Canadian High Commission in Dhaka co-organized the two-day Canada Showcase-2012 at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
High Commissioner of Canada in Dhaka Heather Crudin inaugurated the exhibition this morning. Among others, CanCham President Masud Rahman was present on the occasion.
Business-to-business (B2B) meetings and seminars on the current issues — project financing, agro-food products, renewable energy in Bangladesh, Imagine education in Canada, IT Outsourcing and RMG — are being held on the sidelines of the show.
More than 40 stalls of Canada and Bangladesh are showcasing their products and services.
The show will remain open for visitors without any entrance fee from 10:30am to 7:00 pm in the second day.
