Canadian dollar gains against USD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Canadian Dollar (CAD) traded near the highest level against the Greenback in more than 14 months as investors sought higher-yielding assets. CAD traded at 1.0327 against the US Dollar (USD).

US stocks declined from a one-year high as rating downgrades caused banks and financial institutes to slide.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell to 9,871.06, while the Nasdaq Composite was at 2,139.89, buoyed by technology shares, according to reports.
