1 dead as cargo plane crashes in Bangladesh

Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh (BBN)-One person has died and two remained missing as a private cargo plane crashed in the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh Wednesday morning.

Another person also sustained severe injuries in the accident that took place around 9:00am at near Nazirtek point in Cox’s Bazar, local sources said.

The cargo of True Aviation Limited’s aircraft took off from Cox’s Bazar airport and crashed minutes after take-off.
Local people and fishermen rescued two people and taken them to the Cox’s Bazar general hospital.
One of them declared dead in the hospital.
All the crew members are Ukrainian nationals.
However, the causes of the incident could not be known immediately.
