Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The interim government asked all the four deputy governors of the Bangladesh Bank to perform their respective duties until a new governor is appointed.
The Financial Institutions Division (FID) of the Ministry of Finance issued a notification in this connection on Sunday.
The resignation of BB governor Abdur Rauf Talukder was accepted, the notification added.
In absence of the governor, DG Nurun Nahar is designated to look into the official letters of the governor and asked to send those to departments concerned.
