Central bank finances over BDT 4.22 billion in seven power plants

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Investment Promotion and Financing Facility (IPFF), a cell of Bangladesh Bank (BB), has financed over BDT 4.22 billion in seven private power plants through its nominated banks and financial institutions.

BB Governor Atiur Rahman said this at the inaugural session of a week-long training course on ‘Financing PPP Project’, jointly organized by Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) and IPFF at BIBM in the city recently.

Dr Atiur, also the chairman of BIBM governing body, distributed certificates among the participants in the concluding session.
