Central Bank of Bangladesh takes reverse repos at 6.5 percent

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The central bank of Bangladesh on Sunday withdrew BDT 7.85 billion from the banking system through reverse repo auction at 6.50 per cent interest rate.

Ten bids of 1-day tenor amounting to total of BDT 7.85 billion were received and all the bids were accepted, the Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank said in a press statement.
