Central Bank of Bangladesh takes reverse repos at 6.5 percent

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh on Thursday withdrew BDT 13.04 billion from the banking system through reverse repo auction at 6.50 per cent interest rate.

11 bids of 3-day tenor amounting to total of BDT 8.64 billion, two bids of 4-day tenor amounting to total of BDT 3.40 billion and one bid of seven-day tenor amounting of BDT 1.0 billion, in grand total 14 bids amounting to BDT 13.04 billion were received and all the bids were accepted, the Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank said in a press statement.
