Central Bank of Bangladesh takes reverse repos at 6.5 percent

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The central bank of Bangladesh on Wednesday withdrew BDT 4.30 billion from the banking system through reverse repo auction at 6.50 per cent interest rate.

Four bids of 1-day tenor amounting to total of BDT 3.30 billion and one bid of 4-day tenor amounting to BDT 1.0 billion, in grand total five bids amounting of BDT 4.30 billion were received and all bids were accepted, the Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank said in a press statement.
