Central bank re-fixes commemorative gold coin price

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Central bank of Bangladesh has re-fixed the prices of commemorative gold coins of International Mother Language Day.

From now, a commemorative coin weighing 10-gram made of 22 carat gold will cost BDT 40,000 instead of BDT 35,000 while cost of two coins is BDT 80,000 instead of BDT 70,000, Bangladesh Bank said.

The central bank increased the prices of commemorative coins considering the rise of gold prices in the international and the local market.
