Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The central bank of Bangladesh is reviewing its strategic plan to accommodate a few more comprehensive measures to address some recent developments in the country’s financial sector.

The review meeting will have special focus on some recent incidents in the banking and overall financial sector, the central bank officials said.

Presided over by BB Governor Atiur Rahman, all deputy governors, directors and general managers of the central bank are participating in the two-day meeting, which began on Thursday afternoon at a private guesthouse in Savar.

The official said the meeting would discuss the policy matter related to some important issues like the CRR (cash reserve requirement), call money rate and banks’ exposure to the stock market.
