Central bank signs deals with vendors to modernize BBTA

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The central bank has signed two contracts with Flora Limited and A.R. Electronics Limited respectively under the modernization component of Central Bank Strengthening Project with a view to equipping the Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA) of the international standard.
Executive Director of the Bangladesh Bank (BB) and the Project Director (CBSP) Ahsan Ullah signed the contracts on behalf of Bangladesh Bank and the Managing Directors of both the companies signed on their behalf on Tuesday.
Under the deals, the Flora Limited will supply 35 highly configured Laptops and 10 laser printers while A.R. Electronics will supply 10 split type air conditioners. 
“These equipping will be treated as a milestone achievement of Central Bank Strengthening Project toward its targeted goal of modernizing the Bangladesh Bank Training Academy,” the BB said in a statement on Wednesday.
