Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Chinese company M/s. PH Garment Manufacturing (Bangladesh) Company Limited will set up a lingerie venture in Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh. 
 
This fully foreign owned company will invest US$11.011 million for setting up their unit with annual production capacity of 12 million pieces of various lingerie including Bra, Knickers and Sleep wear. 
 
“PH Garment will create employment opportunity for 619 Bangladeshi nationals,” a press statement said.
 
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s. PH Garment Manufacturing (Bangladesh) Company Limited in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka on Tuesday.
 
Mr. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Wong Kai Kwong, Managing Director of M/s. PH Garment Manufacturing (Bangladesh) Company Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
