Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Redwan Roni’s debut film Chorabali was released at the Whites Banktown Cinema in the Australian port city Sydney on Saturday. 

It will be released at the Whites Tree Plaza Cinema in Adelaide on March 17. 

“Chorabali will also be released in other Australian cities including Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth and in the capital of the New Zealand Auckland,” Redoan Rony, director of the film told New Age, a local newspaper.

The film was released in Dhaka in December 21.

“BD Craft, the responsible distributor of the film, in email confirmed the commercial release of the film in New Zealand and Australian cinemas,” he added.

“I’m really glad that my first film got international exposure. It’s really inspiring for my career at the same time will help me to initiate even bigger project targeting the potential market of the Bangla speaking people living across the world,” Rony said.

Redoan Rony also said that his next plan was to release the film in Europe and American countries.

Action drama Chorabali addresses the contemporary socio-political turmoil. It features Indian actor Indranil Sengupta and local stars like Joya Ahsan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, ATM Shamsuzzaman and Sohel Rana.
