Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– A 15-member top executive level business delegation of 15 Indian companies arrived in the capital on Friday to explore business and investment opportunities in Bangladesh, particularly in the areas of power, healthcare, IT education and agro processing industries. 
A press conference was held Friday in this connection at a city hotel organized by India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) supported by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). 
The aim of the mission is to see prospect of investment in Bangladesh, import from Bangladesh, improve healthcare and education, develop agriculture through agro-based food industries and balance the trade gap between the two countries, IBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad said.
The high-powered delegation will be lead by Adi Godrej, President of CII and chairman of Godrej Group.
The delegation is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister’s International Affairs Adviser Gowher Rizvi, , Privatisation Commission Chairman Dr Jalil, Board of Investment (BoI) Chairman SA Samad, Industries Minister Dilip Barua, Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Bangladesh Bank Governor Atiur Rahman, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and will visit BEPZA at Savar.
Dhaka and Chittagong business groups will be able to meet any member of the delegation at the Surma Hall of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Saturday and Sunday between 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
