Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Citibank, NA, Bangladesh recently appointed Nuzhat Anwar as head of the financial institutions group (FIG), the US-based global bank said.
Nuzhat will be responsible for managing the banks’ relationships with banks and non-bank institutions.
Prior to this appointment, Nuzhat was the head of product for treasury and trade solutions at Citi.
Between 2008 and 2011, she was the head of client sales management. She also led teams in the banking services group and the public sector group in Citibank Bangladesh.
Nuzhat joined Citibank Bangladesh in 1999. She started her career as a relationship manager in corporate banking and subsequently became a relationship manager in financial institutions group.
She has extensive knowledge in client sales management, credit risk management and marketing. She also attended various leadership and strategic training programs in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and India.
