Citi named to "100 Best Companies" list by Working Mother

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Citi has been named to the "100 Best Companies" list by Working Mother magazine for the 18th year that highlights Citi’s commitment to its employees.

Almost 25 per cent among the top earners represent women at Citi. The company has established best practices at Citi with embarking on new initiatives like Global Women’s Initiative launched in 2006.

The initiative was aimed at helping women network and mentoring each other. Each staffer and family member is eligible for three confidential counseling sessions while a 24 hour nursing hotline helps address immediate health issues.

Citi also provides child-care center facilities in different locations.

Besides, the working parents at Citi are connected by networks comprised of nearly 2500 members, a press statement said.

At Citibank Bangladesh as well around 20 per cent of the employees are women including working mothers. Women are also representing many senior positions at Citibank Bangladesh including the management committee, the statement added.
