Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Citibank, N.A. Bangladesh, in partnership with SEID Trust, organized a rally at Manik Miah Avenue in Dhaka on Saturday to create awareness and to promote educational rights of underprivileged children with autism, Intellectual Disability (ID) and Multiple Disability (MD).
The rally was organized marking the Citi’s 200 years celebrations, said a press release. Managing Director and Citi Country Officer for Bangladesh Rashed Maqsood and Managing Director of SEID Trust Dilara Satter led the rally joined by 180 underprivileged children, their parents, caretakers and employees of both the organizations.
The objective of the rally is to draw attention of corporate, civil society, government, media and other stakeholders and encourage them and others to come forward and join hands with Citi and SEID Trust to help these children, a press statement said.
SEID Trust, a voluntary development organization, presently providing services to more than 450 underprivileged children with autism, ID and MD through its four centers located at Shyamoli, Rayerbazar, Kamrangirchar and Hazaribag. 
The Citi will organize a fundraising dinner on October 20, to engage important stakeholders from the corporate sector and media for the same cause to raise the fund and donate the proceedings to SEID Trust.
