Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Kh Asadul Islam has been appointed as the chief executive officer (CEO) of City Brokerage Limited which is wholly-owned subsidiary of The City Bank Limited.
Prior to the appointment, he held the position of executive vice-president and head of City brokerage of the bank since July 8, 2009.
Mr. Asadul was former CEO of IDLC Securities Ltd and played a key role in setting up the company. He began his career with Premium Securities Ltd.
He also worked at multinational investment bank Peregrine Capital Ltd, Union Capital Ltd. In 2002, he became the director of SES Company Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of UCL.
