CMISD inter school soccer begins

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The CMISD (the Cambridge Millennium International School, Dhaka) Inter School Football Festival kicked off in Dhaka on Friday with the participation of the leading English medium schools of the capital.
Head coach of Bangladesh National Football Team Lodewijk de Kruif opened the tournament at the CMISD playground.
With Principal Head of School of the CMSID GM Nizamuddin Shaheen in the chair, the inaugural function of the tournament was addressed by football coach of CMSID and former national goalkeeper Aminul Islam, ex-national footballer Jewel Rana and the county's first Everest conqueror Musa Ibrahim.
A total of 14 English medium schools of the capital, splitting into four groups, are participating in the tournament.
The schools are Sunnydale, Marry Currie, Pledged Harbour, Scholastica, Maple Leaf, Green Herald, Turkish Hope, ISD, BIT, DPS, BIS, IBIS, European Standard and CMSID.
