Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Global CEO of Coats plc Paul Forman arrived in the capital Dhaka on Saturday to take part in the programme marking 25 years of partnership of Coats Bangladesh.
Mr Forman was appointed as the group chief executive officer of Coats in late 2009.
Previously, he was group chief executive of Low & Bonar plc, a global performance materials group listed on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to that, he was managing director at Unipart Automotive, the leading European automotive aftermarket distributor, with over 500 branches across three continents.
Mr Forman has a wide range of experience across global manufacturing, strategy consultancy and mergers and acquisitions advisory services.
After completing an MA in English at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, he began his career working for global management consultancy firm, Bain & Company and later worked in Mergers and Acquisitions in London.
Mr Forman went on to help build start-up strategy consultancy, The Kalchas Group, before becoming director of Strategy and then head of Asia for Caradon, later known as Novar, a FTSE 100 building materials group.
