Cold wave disrupts normal life in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The sweeping mild cold wave coupled with thick fog across the country disrupted normal life forcing people to stay indoors aggravating cold related ailments exposing minors and elderly people to worst suffering.
The country may witness shivering cold during the next couple of days as the cold wave is likely to continue for more few days, an official of Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) said in Dhaka on Saturday.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the regions of Tangail, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Satkhira, Kushtia, Barisal, Feni, Comilla, Chittagong and Rangamati and it may continue.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the official added.
The lowest minimum temperature of the country is likely to be 8-09 degrees Celsius and the highest maximum temperature may be 26-27C.
