Commodity market update: crude oil price rises in global market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Crude oil rallied on expectations of economic recovery, with both NYMEX WTI and Brent crude breaking the US$ 65 level. WTI gained 6.5 percent to US$ 66.31 and Brent rose 7.2 percent to US$ 65.52 a barrel.

Precious metal prices rose, with gold gaining 3.2 percent to US$ 980.30 and silver adding 8.5 percent to US$ 14.51, according to reports.
