Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Cotto Factory Limited, a Netherlands-Bangladesh joint venture company, will invest US$ 0.73 million to set up a Terracotta Clay Tiles Manufacturing Industry in Mongla Export Processing Zone (EPZ) of Bangladesh.
Once the industrial unit goes into operation to produce Terracotta Clay Tiles items, it will help create employment opportunity for 124 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect has already been signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Cotto Factory at BEPZA Complex in the capital Dhaka, a press statement.
General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA AZM Azizur Rahman and Managing Director of Cotto Factory Limited Ali Askar signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
