Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The 10th congress of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) will begin on October 11 at the capital’s Mohanagar Natya Mancha to constitute a new executive body of the left-leaning political party.
A total of 614 district level representatives, including females and indigenous people, will participate in the three-day congress. The schedule of the congress was announced at the party’s office on Sunday.
Haider Akbar Khan Rono, chairman of the congress preparatory committee, urged like-minded political parties to create alternative forces to fight the repeated empowerment of the Awami League and BNP.
