Crystal Insurance plans to float IPO

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Crystal Insurance Company Limited is planning to float IPO (initial public offering).

The Board of Directors of the company discussed the issue in a meeting recently and instructed the Managing Director to complete all the procedures relating to it, a press statement said.

The 37th meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held in the capital, Dhaka was presided over by the company’s Chairman Abdullah Al-Mahmud.

The meeting also expressed satisfaction over the company’s business performance in 2008, which was much better than in 2007, according to reports.
