Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Monday although the losers dominated the gainers.
The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) rose by 0.44 percent to close at 8471.72 points. The CSE-30 Index also increased by 0.33 percent to close at 6476.57 points.
A total of 153 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 74 gained, 77 declined and only two remained unchanged.
Some 3,146,899 shares and debentures worth BDT 449.80 million changed hands on the same day.
