CSE closes higher Monday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Monday, officials said.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) rose by 0.91 percent to close at 10430.61 points. The CSE-30 Index also gained by 1.03 percent to close at 7970.90 points.

A total of 178 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 88 gained, 86 declined and four remained unchanged.

Some 6,921,431 shares and debentures worth BDT 714.90 million changed hands on the same day.
