CSE closes higher Monday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)– Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Monday as the turnover in terms of both value and volume increased.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) rose by 0.24 percent to close at 10585.33 points.
The CSE-30 Index, however, shed 0.01 percent to close at 8033.13 points.

A total of 170 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 79 gained, 86 declined and five remained unchanged.

Some 5,658,441 shares and debentures worth BDT 673.80 million changed hands on the same day.
