CSE closes higher on Monday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Monday as the gainers dominated the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 1.09 percent to close at 8854.69 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 0.18 percent to close at 6777.44 points.

A total of 157 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 95 gained, 59 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 4,753,885 shares and debentures worth BDT 612 million changed hands on the same day.
