CSE closes higher Sunday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Sunday with the gainers dominating the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) rose by 0.58 percent to close at 8433.80 points.
The CSE-30 Index also increased by 0.48 percent to close at 6455.16 points.

A total of 159 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 83 gained, 73 declined and only three remained unchanged.

Some 3,243,686 shares and debentures worth BDT 478.70 million changed hands on the same day.
