Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Tuesday as the gainers dominated the losers.
The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 1.32 percent to close at 8972.25 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 2.33 percent to close at 6935.66 points.
A total of 154 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 81 gained, 66 declined and seven remained unchanged.
Some 4,662,779 shares and debentures worth BDT 671.70 million changed hands on the same day.
