CSE closes higher Sunday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Sunday with the gainers outnumbering the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 2.02 percent to close at 9887.02 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 3.85 percent to close at 7819.90 points.

A total of 161 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 97 gained, 60 declined and four remained unchanged.

Some 5,928,496 shares and debentures worth BDT 963.60 million changed hands on the same day.
