CSE closes higher Thursday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Thursday although the gainers outnumbered the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 1.26 percent to close at 9690.76 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 0.73 percent to close at 7529.48 points.

A total of 170 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 86 gained, 81 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 9,974,147 shares and debentures worth BDT 1513.70 million changed hands on the same day.
