CSE closes higher Thursday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Thursday although the gainers dominated the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 0.56 percent to close at 8707.92 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 1.56 percent to close at 6714.78 points.

A total of 152 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 62 gained, 87 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 4,833,478 shares and debentures worth BDT 723.70 million changed hands on the same day.
