CSE closes higher Wednesday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Wednesday with the gainers dominating the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) rose by 0.39 percent to close at 9408.31 points. The CSE-30 Index also increased by 0.21 percent to close at 7415.08 points.

A total of 163 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 79 gained, 76declined and eight remained unchanged.

Some 4,496,692 shares and debentures worth BDT 699.10 million changed hands on the same day.
