CSE closes lower Monday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed lower on Monday with the losers dominating the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) decreased by 1.20 percent to close at 10223.98 points. The CSE-30 Index also shed 1.77 percent to close at 8101.89 points.

A total of 150 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 51 gained, 96 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 6,661,760 shares and debentures worth BDT 959.60 million changed hands on the same day.
