CSE closes lower Monday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed lower on Monday although the gainers outnumbered the loser.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) declined by 0.16 percent to close at 9513.74 points. The CSE-30 Index, however, rose by 0.75 percent to close at 7432.05 points.

A total of 162 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 97 gained, 62 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 6,309,118 shares and debentures worth BDT 752.50 million changed hands on the sane day.
