CSE closes lower Sunday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed lower on Sunday with the losers dominating the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) declined by 1.62 percent to close at 10482.31 points. The CSE-30 Index also shed 1.79 percent to close at 7928.92 points.

A total of 171 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 33 gained, 135 declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 5,374,685 shares and debentures worth BDT 591.20 million changed hands on the same day.
