CSE closes lower Sunday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed lower on Sunday as the losers strongly dominated the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) declined by 0.85 percent to close at 10392.96 points. The CSE-30 Index also shed 0.38 percent to close at 7953.29 points.

A total of 161 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 34 gained, 126 declined and only two remained unchanged.

Some 5,555,085 shares and debentures worth BDT 767.90 million changed hands on the same day.
